This is what I’m doing now:
Project Management
Still at it, but now I’m at Duracell. Varied projects that range from
- SAP customization
- Rolling out a new corporate card program across the company
- RFPs to select new vendors
- Oversight integration
- Celonis integration
- Integrating Third Party Apps for our business/ finance users
- UIPath migration to the Cloud
Reading
- Finished
- To Shape a Dragon’s Breath – Great story about an alternate world where the Vikings continued to dominate and advance their culture over the rest of the world. The main character is a native girl who is given a dragon egg. This is not done. Dragons are only given to Vikings. She has to confront the prejudice and train her dragon so they don’t destroy her.
- The Humming Effect – Interesting book on the power of humming (includes chanting) and music on our bodies.
- On the Calculation of Volume – Part III – Still can’t believe this is holding my attention. She and her new found companions try to survive together in their looping day.
- The Sutra on the Mount – A non-binary (inclusive of all religions) reading on the Sermon on the Mount. Good read. It tries to reach out to all Christians, but I don’t think anyone that is very conservative will like it. I love it.
- In Progress
- To Show and Tell
- Einstein in Kafkaland
- The Two Towers – I feel as if this is just going to sit on the bathroom shelf for months
- The Silmarillion – Same

Exercising
Five – Six Days a Week
- My workouts are the same set of exercises I’ve been doing
- Weights, Bodyweight, Yoga, Spinning, Dancing, Cardio, Qi Gong, Pilates
- I signed up for a Gym to include workouts with machines
- I’ve joined a Gym called HotWorx – which is working out in a sauna. They have Yoga, Cycling, Bands, Barre, an elliptical type bike and a rowing machine. This is fabulous in the wintertime. They say that I will get leaner in this heat – so I’m hoping. We’ll see how it goes this winter.
- I signed up for Les Mills On Demand. They have great Yoga, Pilates, Core, Dance and Cardio workouts.

Knitting/ Crochet
As usual, I have multiple projects going at the same time.
I started a year-long stash buster blanket. Full of ugly yarn that I will be happy to see go. https://www.ravelry.com/projects/remikit/2026-year-challenge-scrap-yarn-blanket
I started the Penguin Hat – https://ravel.me/remikit/38fqrd
I finished the Into the Hood Mystery Knitalong. I liked the idea, but I will pass on the multiple colors next time – https://ravel.me/remikit/ithamkala
I finished the Chicago Winter Blues Dickey – https://www.ravelry.com/projects/remikit/chicago-winter-blues-dicky.
Continuing to work on another sweater – the Bere by Stolen Stitches. Lots of cables…lots of unraveling and reworking rows…

I’ve also started the Galway Blanket.
